Shooting Stix Safaris is built on one man's lifetime in the field. Joshua Godfrey is a seasoned hunter, acclaimed author, and dedicated conservationist who has turned a lifelong passion for the outdoors into a way to open the world's greatest hunts to others.
A Life Spent Hunting the World
Joshua Godfrey has hunted every continent on earth but Antarctica. Argentina, South Africa, Australia, England, Scotland, Canada, Spain, Hungary, Tajikistan, New Zealand — and many more — aren't names on a brochure to him. They're places he's hunted, ground he's walked, and outfitters he knows personally.
That firsthand experience is the whole reason Shooting Stix Safaris exists. Over years of chasing game across the globe, Joshua built something most hunters never can: a network of trusted connections on nearly every continent, and the hard-won knowledge of what makes a hunt succeed or fall apart. He created Shooting Stix to put that experience to work for other hunters — handling the planning, the outfitters, and the logistics so his clients can focus on the hunt itself.

Joshua is also the author of the Headhunters: Hunting Safaris Around the Globe series — a collection of guides covering the species, regulations, seasons, and outfitters of hunting destinations around the world. Rooted in a deep commitment to conservation, his writing shares the knowledge and global experience he's gathered over a lifetime, helping hunters plan smarter, hunt responsibly, and get the most out of every adventure.
